As a sales and service facility, our dedicated technicians are factory trained and certified annually on the products we sell. So trust your Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Evinrude/Johnson to the professionals. We use only specified lubricants and replacement parts follow the recommended maintenance schedule outlined by manufacturer for each product.Prior to heading out this season, let Brown’s Marine schedule a preseason checkout. - Visual inspection of outboard engine
- Examination of the motor for any signs of leaking at powerhead and gear case
- Inspect the propeller for any damage
- Trim and tilt proper function
- Lubricant and filter changes for your 2 or 4 stroke engine
- Fuel system check and complete servicing
- Lubricate all the grease fittings

- Check throttle and shift control on the engine
- Battery and battery cable inspection
- Lubrication of all fittings and swivel case
- Replace spark plugs
- Replace the motor’s fuel filter and water/fuel separating filter
- Tank test your engine and/or water test your boat
